Finn Halyard: IMPROVED QUALITY
The steel wire of the Finn halyards often breaks rather quickly. This newly developed halyard will last longer . An important gain in durability is achieved by the pressed “ball and shank” we now use and also the way it is connected to the steel wire. The new shape is cylindrical and it will not damage the steel wire as much as the old systems. Also the rope is spliced to the steel wire (not glued). The rope spliced to the steel wire has a core of
Length between pin and "ball and shank" is 24 cm
.
Extra duribility on the steel wire by a new way of fixing the "ball and shank"
