7 - Tackline
Important rope characteristics for a gennaker tackline are: light weight, good grip and flexibility.
For recreational sailing we recommend polyester for a gennaker tackline, usually in the same diameters as a spinnakersheet. If you want a step up, choose a rope with a core of Dyneema®or Stirotex®.
