S Core Mini spool with top-quality Stirotex rope
S Core is super strong, spliceable and multi-functional. This allows you to splice useful ropes yourself. Think of softshackles, loops and lashings. The S Core Mini is available on spools in 2mm - 30m or 3mm - 20m in silver. The mini spools fit easily into any splicing bag. Indispensable for quick repairs while sailing.
- Softshackles - The lightweight alternative to metal shackles. Softshackles don't clatter and you can make them to the size you need.
- Loops - Loops made of HMPE fibres can be used for various attachments on deck and in riggs. S-Core is suitable for this purpose.
- Lashing - S Core is used for tensioning wires or stays by using a lashing.
- Control lines - Single ropes made of HMPE super fibres are used to replace stainless steel wire. For example, at a halyard, downhaul or outhauls.
