Do you want tailor-made advice for ropes for your dinghy? Click on the drawing or in the list which rope you want to replace for your sailboat. Our rope advice tool generates an advice.
We also have ready-made rope sets for one-design classes such as the Optimist, Finn and Laser. In dinghies you sail to win. Our ropes have often been used at the Olympics, as in the 470 class. Because most halyards and sheets are operated by hand, comfort is of great importance during sail races. That is why we have only selected our best ropes for dinghies. Often there are extra grip fibres added to the cover such as Cordura for better grip of genoa sheets and spinnaker sheets. And also for spinnaker halyards this is useful, because they often go through your hands during the sailing race. Do not forget the elastic cord for your hanging straps and trapeze. And the floating safety line that is mandatory in many class regulations.
Dinghy regatta's are getting more and more extreme, such as in catamarans, 49ers and hydrofoiling. Covers must be durable and the core extremely strong. Our competition ropes are suitable for this, for example with a core of Dyneema® fibers or Stirotex fibers. Do you want a light-weather sheet or a tapered spinnaker sheet? We can splice or taper your sheets, halyards and trim lines for you, but you can also easily do this yourself.
